  • my conclusion Hosea tells us that God divorce the sons of Ephraim for the whore dome.

And they are not his people. Now at the end of the 2:23chapter he says I wil say to them who were not my people you are my people.

The son of Joseph will come and speak to the nations in the end of days and gather them for battle and return the children of Joseph. Zech 10:6-7 Ephraim has been lost for 2700 years 700 of them remain in Israel today.

But they return and join Israel army before God returns.

  • Thank you! No it's just a misunderstanding.

The Samaritans are part of Ephraim. The Jews didn't like them. CHRISTIAN BIBLE. John 4:12

The Samaritan lady asked Jesus are you greater than our father Jacob? He didn't correct her

she later said Our fathers worshiped at this mt.

but you Jews say Jerusalem is the place where you should worship. Jesus said go not in the way of the Samaritans or gentiles but to the lost sheep. Yet this women was telling Jesus Our fathers and Our father Jacob.

  • Cool, thank you for for your response. So would you consider their claim to be blasphemous or simply an error in understanding of Ezek. 37? Just trying to understand, these are new subjects of study to me and I'd like to search the Scriptures more about it. BTW, saw your page, I love what you said, "The Arabs are sons of Abraham so to hate Arabs is to hate Abraham, for he loved Ishmael dearly." Excellent point. Thanks, and peace to you.

  • Hosea 1:11 the children of Israel and the children of Judah will appoint themselves one head. mean king...however God says in Ezekiel 37 He will take the sicks and plack the one rulership in the son of David as One king....

The son of Joseph is from Joseph the son of Jacob not Yeshua

  • They are referring to that yes. But you have to ask the question in Ezek 37. God says they will no longer be two kingdoms but one. The children of Ephraim returns int he Last days and the tribes from the north Ephraim is the leader as Judah is to Levi and half of Benjamin. the two sticks are the kings.

Hosea says the Children of Israel and Judah will 'pick' themselves a one head when they return to the land which is Jezreel Ephraim's valley. Messiah of David is not chosen by the people.

  • Ah I see what you're saying...so then what's your thoughts on Ezekiel 37, specifically verses 15-28? That is, the prophecy declaring that God will take the tribes of Ephraim and Judah and make them one people, with one king and shephard ruling over them? Could this not be what they are referring to?

  • Listen to the song again..says messiah son of Joseph messiah son of Ephraim then messiah son of David.

Jews have been expecting two messiahs the messiah son of David from Judah's line and The messiah son of Ephraim from Joseph's line

They believe Jesus is both the messiah son of Ephraim and David.

  • Not disregarding your point, for it's a valid one. However, you keep pointing which Joseph you're talking about, but my question is, is that the one Hazakim is talking about?? Was there something in the song itself that led you to think that? Or are you assuming that they are of the group of Messianic Jews who believe that? Perhaps they're just two Jewish brothers who hold to the Bible. I don't hear much citing of Talmud in their music, only OT Scripture. Have you heard otherwise? Just asking

  • The Children of Israel and in their apocrypha writings and in Talmud speaks of two Messiahs

one from David and one from Joseph.

The messiah of Joseph is slain in the war of Gog and Magog. So many messianic Jews say Jesus is both Messiah of Ephraim/jospeh and David.

I am not talking about Joseph ben Eli Jesus's father im speaking of Joseph son of Israel whom the Messiah of Ephraim comes from

  • What makes you think he was talking about that Joseph? The only Joseph mentioned in Jesus' lineage would be his mother's husband.
