  • Let it be known that any Triathlete endurance sports person is awesome in my eyes. You sir are great, you are a leaving breathing SNL skit. I'm not trying to make fun of you because I really think your awesome. Little nerdy, but so damn nice that its comical. Keep up the good work. You seriously RULE!!! Screw all these dislikes I bet if they met you in person they would have nothing but nice things to say about you. The shit edit at the end fucking kills me!!!

  • Looks like the folks at the Slowtwitch triathlon forum are having a little fun at your expense.

  • beautiful video! now one version in fast forwards?

  • sorry forgot to say, gloves? with damp hands that is a real fiddly thing to do. Timesaving on my suggestions I estimate at socks, 12 secs, shoe straps 3 secs, no jersey 6 secs, no camelbak 5 secs, no gloves 10 secs. 36 secs saved - best of luck!

  • Thx.I think you could easily shave 30 secs off that time.

1 ditch the socks if you can. I was suprised how easy it was in training. Even yesterday at 12 deg C and rain I was not cold - tons of talc helped.

2 pre-feed the velcro strap for bike shoes. if needed tie it back with single thread of cotton

3 wear trisuit, save time of jersey. use racebelt with number under wetsuit

4 Camelbak? Two bottles on bike should be fine

    Happy racing!

2 It looks warm - a jersey should not be needed.

  • Thank you! I have been training for my first race, but I didn't have enough money to buy a bike for a while, so I'm behind on that part and think reaching for the water bottle is scary. If I use that hydration pack, can I avoid having to reach for the water bottle?

  • Have you got the kitchen sink with you as well you (novice)

  • Thank you for sharing your set up This will help me prepare for my first tri this summer. IMO I wouldn't worry about the gloves or the pack as it's only 12 miles for the average tri.

  • not exactly the fastest t1 and t2
