Irish fiddle music

My very good freind Brandy, playing the Maids of Mount Kisco. We were at Friday Harbor music camp playing non-stop, night and day. She set aside a few minutes to play this wonderfull tune for me. This girl has always inspired me to keep going.
It's so nice to have a great fiddle player like Brandy sitting next to you in a session of 25-50 players. Give 'em hell Brandy!!!

At Friday Harbor in the San Juan Islands just off the northwestern tip of Washington state. They have a weeklong Irish music camp there every March. It is a rockin' good time there. This was taped in an empty dorm room there.

This is really well played, I must admit. Just remember to hold your violin up a little higher, so the scroll is slightly above shoulder height. This will enhance your performance by giving you the capability to produce not only a better sound but uphold a beautiful posture.

Total trip! I know Brandy from back home in Phx. I was just looking up some bluegrass and fiddle stuff and about fell out of my chair when I saw this. She looks just as I remember her. I love the music. I am envious of the musical talent that many possess.
