Play different style of music on one Gibson and three Epiphone guitars to see how each guitar sounds like. This clip is playing Epiphone DotStudio (2009) and Gibson Les Paul Studio (2008). Style 1: chords; Style 2: solo on the chords just played; Style 3: fingerstyle on an old classic Japanese song; Style 4: simple blues tune.

  • I never play SG before so I can't really comment on that, I do however plan to get ont though...

Anyway I think the quality for Gibson Les Pual "Standard" is fairly consistent, the problem is with the "Studio", some play really nice, but some don't.

I believe if someone plans to buy a Gibson Les Pual Standard, he/she should comepare with the high end Epiphone Les Pual modals like Custom, they are about the same price (Epiphone might be a bit cheaper).

  • If you know how to play the rest of that Japanese song or even the name of that song, please tell me, thanks.
