  • Fallout 3s fans must have been all like: "what about exploration and killing random stuff?"

  • @Narania234 Jarlaxle is neutral evil? I've read Starless Night, and in that he was such a loose cannon that I would have guessed him to between neutral and chaotic (didn't he help Catti-brie, etc?). Forgotten Realms Wiki actually says he is chaotic neutral, but hell if I know...

Thousand Orcs was a dissappointment, as Bruenor was fake-killed to give Drizzt some angst revenge - why not kill main characters like Weis has done for years? Tarathiel and Innovindil were more interesting

  • @Vohaul86 Wizards of the Coast asked Salvatore to use Obould Many-Arrows in his novels and Salvatore once again proved to be the greatest Forgotten Realms writer.

The Kingdom of Many-Arrows is an orc kingdom founded by Obould in 1371 DR(a year before accursed nwn2)

Jarlaxle and Artemis both survived the Spellplague, glorious even that annihilated horrible neverwinter. Obould is now Exarch(demi-god) in 4E.

So Salvatore sucessfully descibed characters of all three EVIL alignments.

  • @Vohaul86 Very wrong ignorant. Read the recent novels.

R.A.Salvatore created awesome Neutral Evil Jarlaxle Baenre and Lawful Evil Artemis Entreri. ''Sellswords'' is all about Jarlaxle and Entreri's adventures. Enteri's nightmarish trauma from childhood fully justifies why he became evil.

In ''The Pirate King'', Salvatore allied Chaotic Good Drizzt and Neutral Good Bruenor with Chaotic Evil Orc King Obould Many-Arrows against LE Nyphithys and her Lawful Evil Baatezu devils.

  • @Narania234 R.A. Salvatore true fantasy? Well, maybe, but only if you want your fantasy with disgustingly good characters killing "oh-so-evil" orcs etc. I gave up R.A. after I figured out that his "classic" characters like Drizzt are so-called teflon heroes - nothing bad sticks to them!

Worst case was Ellifain's death: R.A. could play "honourable sacrifice" when Drizzt asked his friends to save misguided Ellifain from death instead of him, but R.A. couldn't kill Drizzt for sales!

  • @MrJoostebrood Don't make me laugh, of course avellone is totalitarian scum. H awlays supports Lawful Neutral, the most totalitarian alignment, Plus avellone is influenced by chaoskampf(german for fight against chaos), one of the basis of totalitarian german Nazi ideology.

Dak'kon and Vhailor are excatly Lawful Neutral fascists, followers of totalitarian order.

avellone advocates killing those who are ''nuts''(mentally unstable) just like the german Nazis in T4 Action.

  • @Narania234 Uh-hum.

The people that brought you "Life is a catch, I suggest you catch it while you can." "I'm hungry", "I want to be a dragon" and "WE FAIGT OR WEEE DIE!11!1!" = Brilliant.

Writer of dog/god, Christine Royce, Dak'Kon, Ravel, Kreia etc. = religious (...okaaaaay...) fanatic and totalitarian (you know you're talking about a writer, right?) scum?

Though I still suspect I'm being trolled right now.

  • @MrWillsauce Awesome god Cyric killed Mystra, Asmodeus killed Azuth, Savras died in explosion of Dweomerheart, Helm was killed by Tyr. Tyr, patron of neverwinter is dead, he was killed by Fiends, most likely Baatezu devils.

Mystra, Azuth, Savras, Helm; four Lawful Neutral gods were killed. avellone favorite scum are gone. That's for Qara. I always liked Hasbro and WotC and now i admire them.
