This is brilliant. I only just found this band while looking for videos of the photographer Gregory Crewdson (he was in them apparently!).

i got that Toms LP and i think they were from boston. it pretty rare. it is on black sheep records. i had to pay for that one. sounds real good. "lets be friends again" is real cool

This is GREAT!! I used to see the Speedies in NYC when I was in H.S. I still have their "Let Me Take Your Photo" 45 with a GREAT picture sleeve. Don't anyone think of offering me money for it.

Where is the country The Speedies come from?

Does anyone know if there is any connection between this band and The Toms? The Toms were actually one guy named Tom (something) and he put out one album. I used to own it but sold it in a fit of madness. I suspect he may have been the guitarist in The Speedies because the guitar sound and musical style are so similar. Does anyone know?
