After simulation and calculations, i wanted to confirm if my electric bike can really have this monstruous torque!
I calculated 80lbs (122Nm) and i got 84 !! on 80V A123 battery and a crystalyte 5305 on a 26" wheel .

That's 4600lbs applied on the M14 center axel bolt and the dropout!!!

Quebec 19 april 2008.

Sorry, no sound and bad quality... poor Panasonic Lumix picture camera !!!

  • Is the torque highest on take-off?

  • @luc59457 Yes.. On take off.. but now that 84 pounds of trust is now 160 pounds on my new built !! I still get 50 pounds of trust when accelerating from 80 kmh to 90 kmh! The front wheel want to lift!.. did you watched my 106kmh video?

  • it's much easier for me to believe you just "helped" the bike. i remain sceptic.

  • @bocskai98

I'm ok with septics... I like when i do something that i know is real.. and that people dont believe.. it mean i accomplished something bigger =)

Believe it or not .. the next bike i built succeded to haule a schoolbus... with the same crystalyte motor but on a 20" wheel. There is a TV show that focused o my ebike.. here is the proof of the schoolbus... and if you are still septic and say it was my fot that helped the ebike to haul this bus.. try it.. you'll see!

  • @Doctorbass youtuve vid fxyVxCP4LI0

  • What motor is that a 408?

  • no this is a 5305 from the 5000 serie.. not the 400 serie like the 408..

  • @Doctorbass yes I saw it and that's good torque for those speeds, does the hub make more noise too at these rpms?

  • @bocskai98 I believe him that he didn't assist it but it would have helped if he only had one hand on the bike, just for the throttle, for people like you. I am surprised the tire didn't start spinning. That's a lot of power~!

  • @Doctorbass

I liked very much the way you managed answering :)

What was your way of aquireing the hub motor? I am from Romania and I don't know who sells this product. Do you know any distributor at least on Europe side?

    Thanks!

  • Right on DOCTOR FREEBASE

  • would like two hub motors, one on the front wheel and one on the rerar. couple with some riddiculous juice from some grunty lithium ion batteries and we have contact !.

    Go technology ! '

Make it affordable for the populas
