Magnaflow mufflers + 65 Ford Mustang

Magnaflow model 11124 mufflers on a 289 hipo Mustang. Stock 2" pipes, original H-pipe. Mufflers in 1st half are Maremount Turbo II's. They were OK, but....The Magnaflows have a deeper sound and sound great inside the car too. No annoying drone like some other mufflers.
Compare at normal acceleration, moderate and then fairly hard. Was shifting about 5K.
The video degraded when I used MovieMaker to edit it. The raw footage from the camera rivals HDTV.

Those are 15" Magnum 500 wheels. Some 66 Shelby Mustang's and later Boss 302 Mustangs used them in a 14" size.

Mopar used them too, with trim rings though.

Thanks!! My speaker distorts the sound so I can't fully hear the Arvinode exhaust!! In comparison to up to date exhaust would you say the Arvinode is louder than some flowmaster 40s or 44s

@icewear08 No, I have heard the Arvinode in person. It does not have the drone of the Flowmaster, but it is louder than the my Magnaflows, possibly as loud as the Flowmaster under throttle.

Love the sound of your magnaflows!! I'm in a heavy dilemma of choosing these or the magnapacks. I hear the magnapacks are REALLY loud & my 302 has a big XE comp cam & I'm wondering is your car very noticeable at idle with these mufflers?

@icewear08 It has a low rumble to it, not real loud at idle or cruise, which is why I chose these. Wide open is nice and loud. You may want to consider the 'Arvinode' system, it was the production exhaust for a short run of HIPO cars built in 65. Search 'Arivinode' and you will find a couple examples.

Don't think I have it anymore. This was done with my son's EVO phone and it was HD quality, but when we couldnt edit it without the sound being off by 4 seconds from the video, he uploaded it and converted it, it lost quality but the sound was good. It may be on PC, but it's not on his phone.
