Tribute to 沈殿霞 (肥肥) Lydia Shum

This is a piece I heard from a singer in Lydia Shum's memorial service. Don't know the name of the piece but it wuz so touching. I am playing this by ear and improvised it myself so no picking la.

I hope Lydia would rest in peace in heaven and bring laughters to the angels.

The title of this song is "Star" which was written by a very popular song writer, Mr. Jim Wong who had also passed away a few years ago. The original singer of this song was the first wife of Mr. Wong.

do you mean jim as in the guy that had glasses?? with the funny way of talking in cantonese?? he was a really special actor that was unforgetable like lydia. i loved them both dearly. both've passed away now, right? i think that was a few years ago. she was @ his funeral i believe.

i'm still not realizing that she's passed away.i haven't watched a lot of her stuff, like her show, but a LOT of the shows i've watched were hosted by her.肥肥was an unforgetable actress.this song just makes me want to cry...T_T...it was her fav. i saw more then 1/2 of her funeral-it was just a shock.i didn't know about her cancer, just taht she was unwell & the media swamps her. i can't beleive yet another person has died of cancer.the HK media really held a spark because of people like 肥肥.
