Whirlpool Sport Duet sucks big time. It vibrates, makes noise, and shakes the whole house. Model # is WFW8300SW02

In this video, the machine is not spinning at high speed, and hence not shaking but making a lot of noise.

We have called Whirlpool services dept, and they have sent servicemen 3 times. All came, tighetened some bolts, replaced a part (once), and then they went away with soothing words

  • Yup, she's a true POS. My first one lasted 3 weeks, was replaced by the store. Second one made it 15 months then flooded the laundry room. Shook like a Brazilian disco. The "Sport" model was discontinued (no wonder) but I'd be very cautious of any Whirlpool front load washer.

  • Bosch is the only way to go stay away from American & Japanese brand such maytag, whirlpool, lg, including Samsung do the research and your notice that Bosch is the only front loader w/out any issue or YouTube video complaint. Look for yourself

  • Mine did the same thing-five years and then toast. The bearings go out on the plastic inner tub and then it shakes itself apart. First you get some hard plastic shavings in your shorts. Then larger pieces when it shakes more. Next you start clothes that wont spin or rinse without knocking your house down. After that, its a $600 U.S. repair for it to do it again. I went with a Samsung DIRECT DRIVE. No worries yet and clothes are cleaner. Top loaders are great, but not if your a short person.

  • @chechnya You are a stinky Russian paver.

  • Samsung washer

  • These machines are garbage. DO NOT BUY ONE! Trust me.

  • thanks for the heads up,shake your house? you must either have a house that has no payment under it or moble home, funny thing is,i used to live in upstairs apartment and felt my apartment shake on my washer's spin cycle(i'm serious)..

  • Looks like it is working fine. Is that a load of shoes?

  • Mine is wonderful, never had to service in 5 years until now for the filter cleaning.
