Commercial flooring contractor NEVER vacuums after the completion(vacuums the floor before the installation) but never and ever top of the carpet but if you are residential carpet installer you are welcome to vacuum because you are used to vacuum mrs.jones house right ?
It's carpet laying, not rocket science, bud! By the way this was a unitary back carpet with a cross-stitch, a zig-zagging diamond like set of rows that run in a criss-cross pattern. Theoritically you wouldn't need the seam sealer on a carpet like this, as the under-end of each loop comes in contact with the adhesive. Those seams will never un-ravel! If you don't like the video, make your own. Get the job done, get paid, and move on to the next one. There's a lot of rug to unroll out there!
this video shows everything not to do this guy is a fuckin hack i swear ive been doing carpet for 6 years and i would never do anything he's doing because its totally wrong
everytime a nice helpful video is posted there's some ass commenting on how bad it actually is and that they could have done a better job.....pathetic! Probably weren't cuddled as a baby.
These guys did ok, me and my partner would have smoked em'. Double cut? What for, lol....Run a row properly, it dose'nt take any more time. If your know what your doing. I loved watching the kid glue and stick that piece of cove base! Pure comedy.....
you used the glue trowel for patch and used the patch trowel for scraping the uneven edges ????

Make your own video. I really hate when people talk about other people but they can't back it up.
