How could this commercial feature Macaulay Culkin, Tevin Campbell and Christian Slater?

@hamursh - it's a nice thought but it was just a bunch of kids from theatre school here in London...;-)

I'm glad that the ad series for Kool-Aid matured and changed with me. I think I remember being a fan of the Kool-Aid man during this wacky campaign, and even into the cartoon ads, too.
The newer, slightly less hyper CG ads didn't feel as exciting to me, though. The ones past the "Human Cartoon" felt a bit lazy, and didn't seem to engage with me like the previous campaigns had-- probably due to the less active Kool-Aid man himself.
Thanks for another classic, Peter! 8)

@TrueSoreThumb I shot nearly all the Kool-Aid ads for 5 years from 1988/89 onwards and that coincided with the digital revolution in post production. Initially it meant that there were an explosion of ideas and concepts because everything was suddenly possible. Sadly people get lazy and often begin to take their audiences for granted- you only have to look at the way so many VFX movies have similar 'off the shelf' effects in them..... ;-)
