This would look way better going from Murfreesboro to Nashville.

I made the drive back in Dec 2007, and during 5:30PM traffic. I never dropped below 55-60 MPH in Nashville, and breezed thru to 231 at no less than 70MPH...
The traffic my father dealt with in the 1990s is a memory for the most part... Thanks to TDOT's meticulous engineering and projects of the last 10 years. In fact, in this video... Just before Exit 70, about 1 mile W of the interstate, is my old house I spent the best part of the 1990s in.

@FreewayBrent I am planning to make a 840 video next year as it should be completed by then

Funny how I watched this when I drive it every day. It also showed the poor non use of turn signals around here LOL.

@Jean1juan 70 MPH
-
@FreewayBrent what's the speed limit down there at 840?
-
@Jean1juan: I honestly can't see myself going back to Tennessee anytime soon. Even if I were to come back, TN 840 wouldn't be on my list of freeways to film, as there's really nothing interesting to see along that route. It's probably the most boring stretch of freeway in the entire state, although the interchange at I-65 has a little bit of an interesting look to it.

@FreewayBrent can you make one of Tennessee state route 840 beltway
-
@prfsnlwannabe I-65 south between Hwy 96 and 840 is being widened as we speak, It is very awesome that it is 8 lanes (4 each way) through Murfreesboro now. I live off Exit 81

@FreewayBrent Chicago and Miami are the most beautiful cities to photograph from the freeways in my opinion. Chicago's Lake Shore Drive is one of the most beautiful freeways in the country, only Connecticut's Merritt Parkway could compare in natural beauty in an urbanized area.
What freeways did you film in the Nashville area, while there? I'm very impressed with your first 2 Nashville videos, and although I wasn't familiar with the I-65 stretch south of Nashville(which I've very rarely gone on, if perhaps I've ever gone on that in my life), I've traveled on I-24 southeast of Nashville too many times to count, thanks to the fact my dad's side of the family is from Georgia!
I'd personally love to see some videos of I-840, and crossing my fingers you did drive on it!

I didn't drive TN 840. I did, however, also record I-40 through the western portions of the region, as well as I-440.

Thanks for the information. You decide on Chicago yet?

Most likely not, since I'm already in Detroit, about to head on over to Toronto, Montreal and Quebec City for 2 weeks. Maybe once I start heading back west from Florida, that I might take a "stock market ride" back home...as in, going up north, down south, up north, down south, and so forth...
