superb!! even with the fall :)

The music is totally wrong for her. But her jumps - ahhh ....amazing. Effortless.
-
did anyone notice how similar her fall on the 92 albertville sp lutz as her fall on this one?

It's a shame that even Japenese audience were not able to admire her dinamic performance while they overestimated an artistic skater though it's a small scale and common one.

She really did hold her moves and spins out nicely. Most of the top ladies sort of threw the spins away in the free program, but all of Midori's moves have a sense of purpose.
-
横から見るとさらに飛距離がとんでもなくある。
-
2A-3Sのコンビネーションは伊藤さんの十八番
あと2Lo-3Loも好きw

When you think this performance is over 20 years old, but would still stand up in the world today as far as jumping goes. Midori was by far the best techincal skater in the 80's and 90's

incredible...it looks like she had more energy at the end of her program than at the beginning, simply amazing

Her jumps literally seem to float in the air. Not only was she a great jumper, but her footwork was fast and intricate, and she had wonderful spins and good positions. Really the best female skater of all time----there will never be another Midori Ito!
The one and only one, Japan's MIDORI ITO. Amazing combination and power has won her many medals and hearts of fans all over the world as she always was the crowd fav. My favorite figure skater of all time.
