Complete un-scientific nonsense in a Michael Bay movie? Holy shit. I'm in shock.
-
@mardlinator lol!
-
@Heishirosuke only if you are stupid enough to go touch the green poisonous goo...
-
@mardlinator I think you're forgetting that it can be absorbed through the skin therefore, it can still be very lethal, especially if in contact with the mucous membranes. Other than that I think you nailed it too
-
@photosbyms you're on point. I still don't agree with the whole blistering (perhaps you're trying to imply it's due to the sweat glands failing to, well, sweat?). I'm gonna have to brush up on that.
-
@Heishirosuke its also a powerful acid so at that concentration he would experience some kind of bloating but this is clearly exggerated. the other problem with this is that VX is a thick oily substance which has to be particulated in an explosion to be effective. goo would come out of the green sphere but would not poison anyone
-
@Heishirosuke Who gives a fuck. This is a movie, and a damned good one. If you want total accuracy on the chemical in question, go watch the History Channel.
-
Why didn't they have gas masks ??
-
this is wrong, V-X is a nerve agent which causes massive mucel contractions that will lead to suffocation, think of it as a giant hiccup. VX though DOES NOT cause that
-
Oh and how would you guys especially the ones who have been near these gasses your the ones I honesty would try to watch. Just kidding!
uh... Vx gas is NOT a blister agent... it's a NERVE agent... that guy should be twitching and choking on the floor... not bloating... but oh Hell! Hollywood, you and your bullshit...!
