Ellis Martin interviews Rick Honsinger of Formation Capital Corporation and they discuss cobalt and the lithium-ion rechargeable battery, which is comprised of 60% cobalt. (FCO-TSX) is a well established, Toronto Stock Exchange listed, mineral exploration, development and refining company led by a highly qualified technical team of geologists, permitting specialists, mining engineers and administrative personnel. Formation Capital, through its wholly owned subsidiaries, has interests in base, precious metal and uranium projects in Canada, the United States and Mexico.

The Company's primary assets include the Idaho Cobalt Project (ICP) and the Big Creek Hydrometallurgical Complex that includes the Sunshine Precious Metals Refinery. The ICP, a high grade primary cobalt deposit unique to North America, located near Salmon, Idaho, is slated to produce approximately 1,500 tonnes annually of super-alloy grade high purity cobalt metal over a minimum ten year mine life.

The project received a positive National Instrument 43-101 compliant Bankable Feasibility study in July 2007, a final Environmental Impact Statement in June 2008, a Record of Decision from the US Department of Agriculture Salmon Challis National Forest in January 2009, a Record of Decision from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in February 2009 and a Section 401 Certification from the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality in February 2009. All essential environmental mine permits are now in place and the company is pursuing mine construction financing.

The Idaho Cobalt Project also has its own website where interested parties can learn more about cobalt, its many uses - in particular its varied applications in environmental uses - and how this project will benefit the local county and state economies while preserving and respecting the environment.
