"Cloud" is just the current buzzword for "Time Sharing" brought up to date and accessed thru the internet rather than proprietary networks . IP Sharp was supplying the basic bundle in the '80s .

People tend to think that cloud computing is something magical and different from usual server, well its NOT. Behind cloud is the same server, same people managing it, the only difference is for what you are paying. When it comes to who is using cloud, if you haven't noticed, big companies do not use "cloud", if they do, they create their own cloud.

1) Since when is a democracy efficient? What does that even mean? And if "the cloud" is democratic, nobody voted for you to be the president, so please stfu.
2) Cloud computing will never be as "environmental" than running software from your own PC, offline. Basically, if you think that pumping every single task you do on your computer through the internet will save the planet, then you're just a moron.

This was already in their presentation at the Broadband World Forum in September 2010 in Paris. They added "not environmental" though.
