To all Americans: Strykers, coming to your street soon.

@totoynani143 No, I don't want the Army to do the job in a Ford truck. I want them to not fight wars that the American people can't afford. Thanks for the job offer, but I've already taken the government up on that offer and served in the US Navy for eight years. I don't think they want me back.

@sumpteretc SO? how about the army pays you less than $2000 a month and send u there to do the most dangerous job in a fucking Ford truck, build tough right? maybe that'll save the U.S a lot of people's tax money. who wants the Job? i can help u get it, i think there's a place called recruiting office, all u have to do is apply for it,it's not that hard. u gonna have a good life,15 month's vacation, away from your love one's,The most important thing is to save u'r country's tax money.

The U.S. Army has bought about 3,000 of these, ranging in price from 1.5 to 3 million dollars each, despite the fact that the U.S. government has no money.

Your husband is in good hands with the Stryker. That vehicle is a MONSTER! the only thing badder than the Stryker is the M1 Abrams, the tank that I will be in. Hooah!
-
most strykers were plagued with not being able to take IEDs on the undercarriage.

awesome
@psgchisolm: Because the IED's and heavy Losts, there is a new Version of the Stryker, the LAV-H which includes a improved suspension, an IED-Jammer, a fully stabilized-remote Weaponstation, new Tires which can't burn, Seats which are safe due mine-explosions, a heavier Armor on the Sides & the Front, and
finally a V-shaped Mine Protection on the Undercarriage. a great Vehicle!
