Directly from the tape as I filmed it during the live performance. I think the sound is not as good as what we got directly from the microphones in the piano (hear in the prélude), because the camera absorbs the dynamics.

  • I love how you keep to the basics. Just simply play what the composer wrote down. You made everything natural and intelligible. It's a larcenious crime when somebody embellious such a work as this. It doesn't need it. But it does need a pianist who is sensitive yet daring. Your rendition was beautifully executed. Thank you for a wonderful evening nightcap.

  • the execution is absolutely majestic!!! Erik

  • that is single handedly the sexiest thing i have seen today....hum handedly is not a word this video is still amazing, never stop!

  • Bravo!!!

  • great. one of the better versions i've seen on youtube. it is just a tad too fast, though. other than that, excellent!!!

  • really nice! could feel all the emotion you put into it. a tad slow in my opinion. I also read that playing this movement in a manner free of rubato is desirable, and that each movement of the pour le piano suite is to be 4 minutes. but hey, there is no right or wrong in art : )

  • Debussy is absolutely my favorite composer, closely followed by Rachmaninov. She captured the essence of this piece perfectly. I hope I'll be able to play it as well as that... (I'm currently learning it). Excellent job!

  • *MASSIVE APPLAUSE* Great performance!

This sounds note-perfect like a recording of this piece that I studied at College.

    LOVE IT!

    : D

  • Your playing is good hearty play.

    I was impressed.

  • well played but it seems a little to fast
