Hey i have a 6'8 isle shortboard with the fcs tri fin setup. this guy didnt get out of the way and i ran into him and it completely ripped out my back fin with the box plugs and everything. how much did it cost to replace the plug and fin?

Are your fins glassed on or box fins? Whatever the setup...a surf shop with a good repair guy should be able to fix just about anything. My nephew has a 7' WRV with FCS fins...ripped the center fin completely out....plugs and all. One of our local shops installed new plugs and a fin.....that was at the beginning of summer '08 and surfed it all season..no prblems.

great vid but how do you replace a fin, like if you surfed over a rock and it got ripped off kinda thing...? i need help and i can't afford to buy a new board with these hard times and all___
