' The LOO is a killer rock 'n' roll band from Rotterdam, The Netherlands. The unadulterated rock 'n' roll with a new vibe is unique in the Dutch music scene. Influenced by legendary bands like Guns n Roses, Velvet Revolver, Aerosmith, Motley Crue and Led Zeppelin, The LOO stands for your daily healthy dose of sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll.

They released their debut album Clean Again early 2009 at a sold-out Watt, followed by an extensive tour of over 40 shows. It was called the "Born & Raised in Hell tour". They played at major clubs like Bibelot, Winston Kingdom, LVC, Panama, Brogum and at festivals like the Wantijfestival Clubnights, Goothstock and the finals of De Grote Prijs van Zuid-Holland.

After the 'Born and Raised in Hell Tour' there was a special project between two worlds of art. A collaboration between photographer Megin Zondervan & The Loo.
And as a result the single 'Motion Pictures' was released in an incredible photo book called 'They are Rock' in January 2011 at Rotown, Rotterdam.
In the book Megin tried to answer the question 'Does Rock and Roll still exist?' trough her photos, along with quotes from the band and other great musicians.
