2 slice of white or brown bread
110g / 4oz mature cheddar
Heaped teaspoon of finely chopped onions
Sage - half teaspoon died or 1 teaspoon fresh
Beer 3 tablespoons
Half teaspoon English mustard
Worcestershire Sauce (Lea and Perrins)
Sprinkling of Cayenne Pepper (optional)

  • @thecolaratlady Just leave the beer out, it's not that vital to the recipe. You may need to add a little extra liquid though, maybe milk.

  • That looks tasty and quick. But I've never seen a veggie version of Worcestershire Sauce, so would leave it out or replace with something spicy like Reggae Reggae Sauce.
