i dont believe it is our consumption that drives the autrocities. but the fact that these trifling ass corporates dont wanna pay for shit. and totally marginalize the life of AFricans. if they had some since of self respect and respect for life they would respectfully come in and ask and pay for people to be relocated and employ people and pay for what they take but that would be too much like right. insted their few/many agents on the grnd in congo making and negotiating their low life deals.

Good reporting but not great. She left out the origins of this conflict and poverty. In 1961, Patrice Lumumba was killed by the CIA and the Belgians because of his Pan Africanist views. Which basically means. That if Africa has the most abundant amount of the world's natural resources. Africa should control and benefit from it. Call it racist, colonialism or evil. But they didn't like that. So they had him killed and put a kleptocrat in his place. This is the results. Libya: 20 years from now.
