Foxborough Fire, Fontana/Rancho Cucamonga, California October 22, 2008

With the Santa Ana winds kicking up in the afternoon and continuing through the night, a fire began shortly after midnight at the top of Panorama's west canyon. Fire fighters from FFD, SBCFD, and RCFD were onsite very quickly to ensure the safety of the homes. The winds, which were responsible for the high spread rate were also what pushed the fire safely to the western ridge and away from homes. Cause of the fire is being investigated.
