@EndlessComboz Well idk about better quality but they are the same price from the website (but in other places the 1212 is cheaper) . The gaming edition is just newer but according to the site there not really much of a different besides the software and the cables. (And the LED light)

I checked the gaming edition one out. And its looking like the hauppage 1212 has better quality and it cost the same.

@EndlessComboz you can turn it off when your done using the xbox/ps3. its not a big con but you must have it on with the xbox to be able to display the xbox. this is the only con i had. Oh and if you only want to get this for gaming then the other stuff (software) is useless. If you only want it for games and dont want the useless stuff and or have a ps3 get the gaming edition. Same thing as the pvr but it brings cables for the wii xbox and ps3 and doesnt have useless programs

@EndlessComboz yeah its good. the only con i have is that the pvr must be on when playing a game. Not record but have it on or else it wont display on your screen. That more power consumption to me. But then again it need electricty to get no lag on your tv so its understandable.
