A very popular song from the 50s / 60s sung by Clinton Ford.
Clinton recorded this song as he said he fancied singing something in Arabic, so he asked a egyptian friend to translate a verse for him. It was played on Two- way - family favourites and Jean Metcalf had no idea it was him.
He recorded this number under the name of " Ali Bendhown".
As Clinton used to say It seemed a good idea at the time.
Enjoy.
