The Marmalade were one of the most popular bands of the 1960s and 1970s, scoring a host of hits including "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da" and "Reflections Of My Life" with original singer Dean Ford. Fast forward to 2009 and the band are still one of the best on the circuit. Graham Knight is still with the band after 48 years, while "new" lead singer Sandy Newman has been with them for 35 years! Radio Borders' Hugh Brown caught up with Graham and Sandy and The Minto Hotel, Edinburgh, on 1st August 2009 for a chat. This is Part 2 of a two-part programme which also features acoustic unplugged versions of two of their hits "Rainbow" and "Lovin' Things". More from Hotdisc Television at www.hotdisc.net
Clik into about 2mins 45 sec of this clip and hear the story of how "Reflections of my life" came about - absolutely fascinating - and straight from "one of the horses mouths"! priceless - sounds like a gift from above R

Kudo's to Graham Knight for some classic bass lines in many of Marmalade tunes like those mentioned here - I See the Rain, and Reflections of my Life. Very inspiring learning to play them!
playing Graham!
