How can we forget what happened to the voters of Florida in 2000? Democrats watched as Republicans used the Supreme Court to overturn the will of the people.

In 2008 - the Obama campaign and Howard Dean's DNC is pulling the same trick with Hillary Clinton. The voters of Florida did not violate a single rule in 2000 or in 2008.

Today, their argument is to turn away the 1.7 million people who voted. They want to discount Clinton's 300,000 voter margin of victory. They argue that because a Republican Gov. choose the Democratic primary date - NO VOTES SHOULD COUNT. They argue that even Superdelegates living in Florida should not count. They argued against having a revote. They were unable to offer us - in any fashion - the true will of the people.

Clinton's margin of victory - 300,000 votes is more than every vote Obama received in Alaska (6,674), Delaware (50,467), Dems Abroad (15,214), Hawaii (28,437), Idaho (16,880), Kansas (27,172), Nebraska(26,126), North Dakota (11,625)and Wyoming (5,378) - COMBINED.

Why do any of these states matter more to the nominating process than Florida? Why do Obama's 16,000 votes in IDAHO equal 15 delegates and Hillary's 870,000 votes in Florida equal ZERO delegates? Democrats should figure out a way to reward critical swing states - not punish them. Barack Obama cannot win Idaho in November. Hillary Clinton could win Florida in the fall.

Show up on Saturday.

  • Nothing fair and square about this election.

Bought and paid for by Soros/Auchi and an endless list.

Superdelegates were bought or threatened by

    Obama. Corporate media bought.

Who holds the strings to this Obamapuppet?

  • Oh please. It wasn't the voters fault. What SAY did they have? Obama stole the nomination.

  • Just stupid. Do u know wat really happened?

  • racist hick, you and your inbred family should move to some place far far away, like Alaska.

  • I will vote against a candidate instead of for one for the first time in 30 years.....nobama!

  • Get ready to vote Mccain, make sure you have your rocks and sticks at your front door, because he wants more wars, that means the institution of the draft~

    Obama 08

  • No Obama, no way and no how. If Hillary does not prevail at the convention, I will for the first time in my adult life, vote Republican. Come on DNC, don't make me do this. Hillary will win and Obama will lose. We need to take back over the Whitehouse. However, SD' it seems, that it is up to you now. We will fight to the end for Hillary!!!!!!!!!!!! and not Obama. Rise, Hillary, rise!!!!

  • I agree elections should be based on popular vote.

If that had been the case for the primary, both Clinton and Obama would have focused on maximising single votes instead of applying a delegate strategy, and Obama would still have won.

The continued presence of this video on youtube epitomizes the concept of "sore loser", don't you have anything more relevant to think about? Such as for example who's going to be the next Commander in Chief?

  • The ENTIRE Nomination porcess, and ELECTION should be based on POPULAR vote. If that was the case, Clinton would be our nominee. Actually, Gore would have been our president, which would have been a disaster.

Not saying I like Bush, he was another disaster. I just wish Kerry would have won in 2004.
