Catching a squid

My friend and I were out for a fun day of snorkeling. When, on our way back in, we spotted two squids. The one I caught kept "inking". Sorry for the shakiness of the camera. My friend is not the best videographer in the world. We were off the north coast of Runaway Bay, Jamaica.

It is a simple spear gun that I bought at a sports store. The spear is propelled by a rubber band that links onto the spear. When you pull the trigger, the spear is released and the pressure of the band propells it through the water. All guns have a light setting and a heavier setting. This was shot on the light setting. I just saw a double spear gun in the store yesterday. Looked reallly cool, but not sure how usefull it would be.
