Not able to change video input on RCA "universal" remote

I'm trying to get rid of my old Sanyo TV, and unfortunately no longer have the remote that came with it. I bought an RCA universal remote, but with none of the Sanyo codes was I able to control video input.

Just manually plug in channel numbers withe the keypad. Sart with 01, etc. eventually you will see video (on mine it is 01)

My worked and then i dropped it and batteries fell out. reprogrammed it and now the input doesnt work so wth?

Hey, I had the same problem. Here is a list of the codes mine came with. Try some of these and see if it helps at all buddy. I have the RCA RCR3273. Not sure what remote u have. Private message me and let me know if it worked.
1047, 1078, 1080, 1121, 1129, 1163.
1163 worked on my Sanyo tv and mine is pretty identical to yours. Give those codes a shot. The codes list list like 017, 021, 039, 056, 057 and 058 and none of those worked for me. Luckily I found my code booklet.

I was pretty eager to clean house and get rid of the TV, so I broke and bought a Sanyo remote online. It wasn't the one that came with the TV (I misplaced the original at some point), but fortunately it did the job. If it didn't I'm sure you'd have seen a rant more barbed against Sanyo. Still, the new remote set me back ~30 bucks.
