Good for him. If we can get him away from the Planned Parenhood lobby's money I might even vote for him. Really thought highly of his hit on Osama Bin Ladin. He's
not much of an economics genius obviously but in all fairness it was when Nancy Pelosi got elected Speaker in 2007 that our 5% unemployment in 2005 when Bush had a Republican Congress got fouled up, not 2009 when Obama took office.

You can blame Republicans all you want but President Obama re-newed the Patriot Act. He could have veto'd this bill and he didnt. Obama owns the Patriot Act now and everyone who voted for him owns this bill as well. The Senate is controlled by the Democrats; they could have voted no right down party lines and this bill would have been gone. But they didnt and Obama didnt. This is Obama's bill now and you can't blame anyone but him if you do not like the Patriot Act

Now the media will be all up in arms about the 'autopen' for a few days, and we will have a gazillion autopen talking points, with no real discussion about the fact that extending the Patriot Act represents Obama's utter abandonment of the liberal left, his supposed base.
