Whole Food's Dirty Little Secret: Most of the So-Called "Natural" Processed Foods and Animal Products They Sell Are Contaminated with GMOs! Products stated certified organic Californian etc while it printed with small letters in the back Made in China. We all know the Chinese products are not certified organic by FDA and there is no way you can insist they are...............
2011 UPDATE: Whole Foods Market has given in to Monsanto and now will sell UN-labeled GMO's !!!

This is an example of our screwed up trade policies. Flex your power and stop buying at WF. And, don't forget to get after Congress to either inspect imported foods with the same scrutiny as our home grown. Easy to see how our own farmers need those subsidies when they have such regs to contend with as well as inequitable standards for foreign produce/products.

@SageShows Better regulations????? Did you really mean to say that?? Doesn't a consumer have some responsability to what they buy? Statements and consumers who believe regulations are the answer are the reasons small farmers are going out of business. Take responsability and find producers you can trust.

I already knew about this. They specifically mark what they can get locally. For produce this is always fresh. I knew the frozen organics can come from any where. The people who aren't paying attention to the products they buy are at fault, not WFM. At least in my opinion. It isn't feasible to think that all things are organic AND local; that's why the store has specific, and separate, markers for both.

I eat all organic foods and have frequented Whole Foods. There isn't one in my area but is currently being built - and I was looking forward to it. Now I am leery and disgusted. It's time to get active on better regulation!!
