Neil Blender & Steve Claar - "Speed Freaks Video" (1989)

Inspirational Skateboard Video Parts From The Past.

When I skated back in the late 80's into the 90's, one of my favorite things to do before heading out, was to watch a scene or scenes from a skateboard video, you know, for a little pump up.

I decided to compile some of my favorite moments from some of the old vids.

I love this scene. The whole thing is what skating should be...FUN! We use to quote so much from this video. Like Neil's line, "We're gearing up, for what they call getting down"...love it!

I did something slightly different with the intro on this one. I added a clip of music and decided to show the actual box for the vid, which is showing it's years, but I still have it.

Wow, can't believe I did that. And the 'Bug" album is one of favorites. Not sure what I was thinking cause it clearly is "Let It Ride".
