@marshawang She wasnt wealthy to start. Also I get the impression that shes a volunteer for new types of legs, as well as a model for artists creating specialized prosthetics, so she gets these legs for free.

Some of the runners with spring legs are considerably better than non augmented runners. They have longer strides and more spring in their steps.
