info by Wikipedia :
Vixen 357 (ヴィクセン357, Vikusen San-Go-Shichi) is a Sega Mega Drive war game that takes place in the late 25th century. An interstellar war takes place and Earth emerges victorious thanks to secretly developed robots. The game was released on October 23, 1992 and was developed by Messiah and published by Nihon Computer System. The release-date retail price was 8,880 Japanese yen. Many of the characters that are provided to the player provide character development and losing them could mean losing the game, resulting in a game over. The game uses a battery save to help players regain lost characters in case one of them die in a tactical mistake. Anime-style cinemas help improve the plot as the story develops.

  • In the beginning, the operator tells the three Slash Team members that the enemy has six Grap-Type Vectors(the Teglars) and three Gunner-Type Vectors(Valser V8s and a Valser V10, piloted by Kally Gort). Mack Ryan complains that he hates Grap-Types(mainly because he only specializes in ranged attacks).

  • The bad guys here are the Arch Palace, an organization led by those five people you see in the opening, who want to take over the world. The good guys are the Slash Team, led by Takuya Murasawa. The Slash Team gets new Vectors throughout the game, but the Arch Palace has a Vector with a secret. I haven't been able to figure it out completely since my damn Gens emulator doesn't run under Linux.

  • Whoah, you speak Japanese AND you've played this game? Awesome man ;_; I wish I knew more about the plot...
