I had a cop pull me over for speeding once. I waited until I got to the nearest exit and pulled off. He made me get out of the car and practically threw me down on the ground. I was trying to avoid a situation just like that. He said he though I was running from him. I respect what cops do for us but what a pecker head! Oh and Im thirty this was my first ticket ever!!!!!

I'm sorry that the guy got hit, but now they have to pull over 500 more people to pay his medical bills...

@comwidit23 you have to understand what he was thinking too sometimes when people take so long to pull over its cause they are hiding drugs or getting a gun he doesnt know who is driving you could have been anyone he doesnt know your intentions. they pick the spot for a reason. it sucks that it happened but your best bet is always to just pull over right away

With todays tech and the advancement in speeding & red light cameras, why couldn't and officer just take down the vehicle license plate and mail the motorist a ticket if they had no priors or outstanding warrants attached to the vehicle owner.The general motoring public are easy money and if you have nothing on your record , why even bother with speeding unless under extreme conditions.

@djshway agreed. thats what i always did. if that wasnt an option id allow htem to loccate a safe spot for a traffic stop, ( within reason of course)

Just to be clear though. I do no hate cops. Some out there though give the good ones a real bad name. Another funny note to my story is, I had my three kids with me. I was a real threat I tell ya.

Shouldn't he have approached the vehicle from the right hand side if it was on abusy street? I remember a cop pulling my friend over and he approached us on the passenger side window instead of the driver side...
