Over 200 years ago, our Founders created a system of government in which citizen involvement would help craft the best policies for all Americans. Unfortunately, that never happened. Lawmakers took control, and citizens were left on their own to research issues, separate partisan spin and media bias from the real truth, and then determine who to contact, and how to best communicate their input. It's a frustrating task dealing with emails, letters, phone calls, meetings, youtube, tweets, facebook posts, and thousands of different website comment forms, so the majority of citizens don't bother to take part.

ThePeoplesVote.com is the technology solution. We're a non partisan, internet based, social utility that creates "Advisory Propositions" at the federal, state and local level in which citizens learn about and cast votes on the most popular public policies debated by governments, before they become law. Based on the Initiative and Referendum Process, and utilizing the latest in internet cryptographic security procedures, our interactive design allows our representative form of government to work the way our Founders intended. Thomas Jefferson wrote about effective government being "well informed citizens meeting as neighbors so that policies could be decided by the common reason of the citizens themselves." We call it "Voter Involved Solutions."
