Today takes some time while hunting in the great outdoors to discuss a recent major local issue, natural gas drilling. Tom supports opening up the Marcellus Shale to drilling, with strict enforcement of regulations to protect our environment. We urgently need to access these resources for the jobs they can create. We also need this and other domestic sources of energy to ween our nation off of foreign crude oil. Thus the Marcellus Shale can help protect both our fiscal and national security. However, Tom opposes the underground storage of waste from the drilling process. He discusses some ways that this problem can be turned into an opportunity through the recycling process. Come join the team at www.TomReedForCongress.com
Marcellus shale drilling will poison Pennsylvania's water supply. It already has been killing farm animals and getting people sick in Washington county. Out west fracking has resulted in many cancer cases. It needs to be stopped NOW! Please research it! The EPA is not even allowed to know what is in the frack fluid, there are no regulations on frack drilling. This is the most dangerous situation Pennsylvanians have been put in, DRINKING WATER IS VERY VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nicely pressed orange vest --wonder if taxpayers paid for that, too? This video should win some sort of MTV award for most ridiculous or most fake video. Tom Reed with a gun -too funny!

Reed: Return the $1.8 MILLION! You talk of fiscal responsibility, walk the walk!
Viewers: Demand Reed return your taxpayer money (which he received to refurbish his building)!!!

TheAccountabiliBuddy and vincentja1 either you are Massa plants who don't care or you are willfully ignorant. Reed can't return a grant that went to the Village of Bath. It didn't go to him, it went to the village. It was a legitimate business transaction using a long standing state level grant progam, something that Massa can't wrap his mind around since he has never created a job or met a payroll.

That was good of him to weigh in on this issues like 2 weeks after it came to a head. Chesapeake's lobbyists are so going to bankroll this guy.
As long as Reed is taking hindsight positions, perhaps he could weigh in on whether he thinks elected officials should accept taxpayer funded grants for their own personal benefit.

Good job Tom. This is a key issue for the southern portion of the 29th. The environmental concerns must be addressed and you have done that with this video and stance.
