3D Forest - Created with Adobe Photoshop and After Effects CS4

A 3 dimensional forest was created as three layers in Photoshop CS4, using brushes for the various trees and shrubs. Each layer was then exported individually into 3d layers in After Effects CS4. A camera was added and various angles were adjusted using position keyframes. This was just a test I wanted to do after I was inspired by the music video for "I'm Sure it Helps" by Weinland...

All of the videos I've posted on Youtube using AE have been simple tests. I'll see something I like and get an idea about how I could do it and then try to figure it out. I'm confident there are better ways to do it. I'm a total noob with this stuff. This only took about 20 minutes to put together. I'm sure it could be improved but I really don't see a point in spending more time on it. Thanks for the suggestions though. Maybe I'll try some of these tips in the future.
