Gosh, some folks are pretty thick-headed.
This does not turn your wiring "into a radio antenna," nor are they illegal to sell in the UK.
It's a HomePlug device. Google is your friend.

So why not just plug the type of networking cable that plugs into these things straight into the other computer instead? Cheaper, faster, and no radio interference.
