Oil Execs Asked to Justify Huge Profits at Congressional Hearing
The executives of the five biggest oil companies—Exxon Mobil, Royal Dutch Shell, BP, ConocoPhilips and Chevron—were called to testify at a congressional hearing on Tuesday. Lawmakers took them to task for making enormous profits but investing next to nothing in renewable sources of energy. They were also called to justify why they got $18 billion in tax breaks last year when their profits had hit $123 billion and oil prices had reached runaway highs. We speak with Steve Kretzmann of Oil Change International.

These oily -faced shitheads say "let them eat cake, and have fun driving to the store to buy it on $4/gal gas." Fuck them. Their companies should be seized and nationalized. Send them to Gitmo with the Enron boys.

Educated Americans know that the media hype and rhetoric surrounding Big Oil is just a bunch of hot air designed to distract the general public from what's really going on.
The world is NOT running out of oil; and won't be anytime, soon.
Oil companies have manipulated regulatory processes to create artificial shortages and limit competition.
Additionally, they are systematically using fear and lies to drive up prices, and in the process amassing obscene amounts of wealth.

BOYCOTT! There is currently a movement to get our voices heard in a very real way. Don't purchase any gas, from any gas station, on May 14th 2008. Further, don't purchase any gas from Exxon/Mobil gas stations during the entire month of June 2008.
