@thatniggbeme7 you have to click on that spot. PT automatically starts play where it last stopped. to resume to the beginning, click at beginning or click the back button on play controls. OR - highlight the certain area then click spacebar or play

@Mystikal22693 check your preferences /session then click 44.1 in the list. I use Vista and its what i have to do. Although SE isnt made for Vista as well. but it does work

how do i do cycle playback on windows vista? and what does "the current playback engine does not support a sample rate of 44.1kHz" mean? i get that when im trying to switch preferences from mixing or producing to recording and performing

My problem is getting sound out of my speakers whehn using the transport. I've clicked on the Demo Songs, I choose a demo, listen to the 'Audio Preview' through my speakers just fine... but when I load that demo up and press play using the transport there is no sound coming from the speaker.
Question: Is the sound coming from the 'Audio Preview' analog and the sounds from the playback of the tracks digital?
This could be my problem. If not I don't know what else to try.
