FJRGT2 FG42 semi auto rifle first look. Members of FJ Rgt 2 trying out thier new rifles. These are 8mm Mauser, semi auto only. Rather heavy but recoil is light. Maybe we can film again in uniform later on.

The 8mm round is a heavy slug and ammo ain't cheap. It's a handsome weapon, definitely more than I'd want to spend. I'd think that the magazine would get in the way of things...The Mauser action is something to drool over, but gimme a Browning BAR any time. Hard to go wrong with one of those.
