How does it handle green stem soybeans vs dry stems? My conventional doesn't like green stems so much. I'm looking into any kind of upgrades that may help a conventional combine out otherwise I have to wait longer to harvest and the beans get down to 9% or lower even.
-
This combine looks just like ours, our head is almost exact to that, maybe even the same peeled paint marks, peculiar.
-
you should ove bought a 8820 titan 2 we got one and it would walk around a 7720
-
Those are good looking beans. I like the combine.
-
the 7720 was a damn good combine with the the right operator nice vid!
-
ya but somethin happen it is and it isnt some are but this one i would throw it into 4 wheel and it wouldnt let me
-
Isn't rear assist hydraulic fluid powered? I'm confused how that works..
The green stems rumble more but they will got through but slower. Last fall we had the pleasure of green stems and 9% beans. Sometimes here we can wait till after frost and the stems will get better. Also hear guys that use fungicide on beans say they stay green longer.

7720 is not any quieter inside but I like the unloader auger better. Also the dial-a-matic works better and doesnt thump like the 7700 did.

Dan, check to make sure your fuel shut off cable is sealing tight when pushed in. I found that the 8820 I used to run some was way loud in the cab because of that...out a small o ring behind it and problem solved.

Thanks for the tip. Ill take a look at that. I think if the upholstry was replaced it would help too.
