@scarletfires I use FileZilla in both Windows and Linux. They have a Mac client, but the Mac Mini is at a friend's house right now so I can't verify that it looks the same. You can find it through a Google search or on Filehippo.
I don't recommend using Bluehost's FTP client, as it will only let you do one file at a time (the last time I tried it).

First, thanks so much for putting this up here!
I am a very inexperienced beginner and was unclear what was going on when you were uploading drupal from your computer. I have a mac so maybe it is an operating system issues, but I wasn't sure how to accomplish this step.
Are you using an upload function on bluehost? Are you uploading drupal to bluehost? Thanks :)
