Vic Reeves Big Night Out was a cult British comedy stage show and later TV series which ran on Channel 4 for two series in 1990 and 1991, as well as a New Year special. It marked the beginnings of the collaboration between Vic Reeves (real name Jim Moir) and Bob Mortimer and started their Vic and Bob comedy double act.
This is the final ever episode of Big Night Out.
All copyright goes to Vic Reeves, Bob Mortimer, Channel 4 & Channel X. Ripped from my own personal copy of the DVD. & Remember, if you like it, buy it! ;) http://www.play.com/DVD/DVD/4-/689064/The-Original-Vic-Reeves-Big-Night-Out/P...

  • Sal, thanks so much for these. 8D I apologise for spamming you with comments, but hey! These are most definately worth it! And I agree with

MrDCWood, brilliant ending. Everyone who wanted a piece of Vic got one, and final closure to all running gags... yanno, very final!

  • Heya!

No problem hun, just glad you've enjoyed them all! BNO always has a special place in my heart no matter how much I love the rest of Vic & Bob's stuff! It's brilliant, isn't it?

    Thanks again!

    X

  • Cheerz Sal, just watched all episodes back to back, hilarious stuff, will never tire of watching these comic madmen :-)

  • Great! You're very welcome! Everyone is very welcome aslong as they watched & enjoyed it...which is almost impossible not too really! lol. Even after all this time, being a fan of everything they've ever done, BNO still holds abit more for me than the rest of their amazing stuff...it's just so...different & unique.

Just hope more people discover it now I've uploaded them all on here :D

  • That is so true, was certainly unique, ive seen others thry to emulate them, but nobody ever compares! I wonder what our friends across the pond think over in America? Do you think they get the humour, its hardly Fraiser or MASH is it LOL

    :-D

  • Well, I'd like to think america would like them cos I want everyone to like them but I really don't think they're america's thing. I mean, even some english people have trouble understanding their humour. lol. They're the most unique, talented, clever, funny men in the world...& when you understand them, it makes you feel unique too...albeit in a strange way. lol.

They are the best basically...that's just fact & unlike Little Britain, they don't need america to prove that fact.

  • No better way to end such a godlike series. The final episode was my favourite of the series, mainly because it brought such great closure to many timeless running gags, like the Man with the Stick's kids still under Vic's employ and him turning to drink. Then the kids being handed over to Wavy Davy aka the devil.

The war between Vic and Lister was also legend and I loved it when they started fighting for control, Lister fell and MWTS came on and shot Vic and himself. Absolutely brilliant!

  • Incredible

  • thank's for that lot , vic had so many idea's, him and bob pulled them off brilliant, they are natually funny men, and dont even try to squeeze a laugh or exhuast a good gag unlike so many other comedians. the fops down,,

  • Well I'm from Canada and I love them, but yeah, there's nothing nothing nothing like BNO on American TV (which is what we watch lol), we've so totally lost our vaudeville/music hall tradition here that makes it hard to understand in itself, and then this, of course, is music hall on acid. I've got a theatre background though, maybe that helps. Smell of and Bang Bang are more familiar in format, you just have to adjust to the, uh, really unique humour, lol.
