9/12 March on Washington Protestors Surround CNN Bus

While at the march I went over to the CNN trailer where I heard chanting on the side facing the capital. After about 15-20 minutes I went back to find my group on other side of the CNN trailer where there was about 1,000 to 2,000 people sitting in the grass resting and eating. Apparently the CNN reporter said that she saw only about 1,000 to 2,000 people which really upset everyone around her who heard it. I videoed a short clip of them yelling to “move the trailer” as there was easily several hundred thousand protesters on capital side that she was ignoring. I was there folks and proudly walked with my American brothers and sisters, all upset at Congress and Obama socialism. It was shoulder to shoulder and had to have been easily over a million if not two million. The police told us when we were looking for trash cans that they had been all removed and they had been issued extra littering citations. Also no porta- poties what so ever had been set out as compared to other demonstrations and rallies in past. That alone shows the arrogance and vindictiveness of the administration towards US citizens. I love the slogan out now “Judgment Day 2010” as I believe Congress will be thrown out.

What is socialism to you--extending the benefits that seniors get in Medicare of vets get in the VA to poor children? I wouldn't expect you to know, but some of us that were there do have an education (3 college degrees) and I served our country in the Marine Corps and saw and did things for this country that you can't fathom. Sir, I suggest you never insult a person who has different views. I would however insult a person that posts immature remarks with no basis of fact. No need to thank me for you EDUCATION I JUST PROVIDED YOU.

I WAS there as well... it was under-reported. The good news is that it was a great crowd of decent people who didn't trash out the capitol... in spite of the absence of trash cans! =)
