Romans 3:10-12 ESV
as it is written: "None is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God. All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one."

We are saved by hearing and believing the Gospel of Jesus Christ-that He died for your sins, buried and rose on the third day. We must be careful with evangelism. There is alot of "sloppy" evangelism and biblical teaching out there. We must be able to rightly handle the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

We're already accepted and forgiven. It is only ours to believe and rest in Him.

It is good to read the bible and to understand what to Invite and accept Jesus Christ mean. What does the gospel of John 1:12 tells us? Is not to receive Jesus, or Rev 3:20, What will happen if we open our hear? Is not to Jesus who inter into our heart? Please do not try to tell the world that you what you teach is the whole truth by undermine others. It is good to teach your msg but know that what you know is not the final truth.

B ...and what that is makes all the difference if he is a voice from God in the wilderness or just a negative crank. So I ask again, does anybody know if there is another video where he clearly states what he believes IS the Gospel in place of what he says here is NOT?

Look, Platt has a point, that it's a delusion that getting saved or becoming a Christian is just "say this prayer and start going to church." That is what "evangelistic" programs have often aimed at and just results in religion, not real devotion, or real growth in the Body of Christ: a living body that reproduces life. The problem here is that he never states here what he believes should be in its place. He probably does say it somewhere else in the sermon that this video is just part of. >
