Journalist: Just a little word on these olympic games: what did you lack?
Brian: What did I lack? Er... I simply wanted to do too much, It's true I should have done things simpler but er I was very nervous and I'll have to learn how to controle my nerves.
Journalist: And maybe change certain things, in your preparation...?
Brian: It's true, it's true! And what also pleases me is to see the young skaters, the new French generation that's comming up, and in France we've got, in men's figure skating a level which is fairly high, that's important and it touches me and pleases me and it motivates me for after.
Annik: You know being a leader isn't easy, but saying that thanks to him, lot's of young boys want to be like him, because he's an example, an example concerning his talent but also concerning his kindness and friendlyness, so that's why everyone's talking about him and why everyone's expecting alot from him. But I know he likes it when people expect alot from him, is it not Brian?
Journalist to the other journalist and coach Annik: Just a little comment from you, who are from the skating world; the fact that eveyone's always talking about Brian, what does it mean? It means that he's got lot's of talent, but it also means people are expecting alot from him?
Annik: But you know, he is undoubtly the male leader of the French team.
Brian: And, well I'm 21 years old and there's worse things in life, I'm I'm going to look to the future.
Journalist: You often say it, you're very young, do you imagine your short term future with maybe a podium at Calgary?
Brian: Well for Calgary, it's true when I compete I always aim for the podium, a medal, but then we're going to try and do the most, simply, and take pleasure and then on a long term basis, there's Vancouver.
Journalist: Brian, everyone has been talking about you recently, you seem pretty calm and relaxed. How did you live the 6th place eventually, with time?
Brian: It's obvious, the 6th place wesn't what I was expecting, I wanted a medal, it was hugely possible,
and obviously, I'm upset, upset for the French, it's true, the French would have liked to have a medal, so we're going to make up for it at the worlds.
Journalist: Brian, how are you preparing these world champs?
Brian: For now the preparation is pretty good; it's true that compared to the olympics there's going to be
a big change concerning the free program I won't say anything more, it'll be a surprise, but it's true I took this decision on my own after the olympics, and I think it's the right one.
