    they did use a different theme in 2001 & it was crap! the best version was personally 1997 although a Tory voter so I lost but the music & graphics were good apart from all the red lol, good to see no yellow though!

    In the 1950s Con/Lab soaked up 95%+ of the vote, now nearer 70%, so while that diminishing vote wobbles along the one axis, the swing over time is more away from Red/Blue and towards Gold

    But the Liberal Democrats (formed in 1988) have never been in power - ever. The Liberal Party however, was last in sometime at the end of World War One I believe.

    Well... the Liberal Democrats have never been in power so i can understand you there. It really has been swinging from Labour and the Conservatives since 1922.
